Since the millenium the sounds collection of Carl Flisch-Aghayan
is free available for the public. First he has digitized parts
for the Swiss
Internet Radio Service. The establishment of the Public Domain
Project in 2009 and the Swiss
Foundation Public Domain in 2012 was the start of the professional
digitization and rightsclearing. In 2019 he left the organization
to build up a new sound archive spezialized in sounds from all
over the world and not with a polarization of Switzerland.
78 ARCHIVE will publish
the database of the Musical
Heritage Organization, a Swiss association which warmly welcome
all interested people to join and build up a physical and digital
library project that collects 78 rpm grammophone records, phonograph
cylinders and vinyl discs to share free Sounds of the Earth with
all the peoples of the world. |
